The Federalsburg Recreation Park and Marina offers two boat ramps, boat slips, three pavilions, picnic tables, basketball courts, a volleyball court, soccer field, three child playground set-ups at the pavilions and a magnificent 2.5 mile (one way top to bottom) hike and bike trail along the Marshyhope Creek. This trail is home to many waterfowl and animals, a nature area and pedestrian bridges that cross some of the most beautiful water areas along the Marshyhope Creek that passes through Federalsburg. At the end of the Marshyhope Creek Greenway Trail to the South is the newly rebuilt VFW Boat Ramp which is owned by the Town and features a two slip ADA accessible boat ramp.
Chambers Park offers tennis courts, hand ball courts, picnic tables, barbecue grills,a skate board park and playground equipment for children. There are two baseball diamonds and a football field where little league, senior league, Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading teams practice and play on a daily basis. Chambers Lake provides a beautiful quiet picinic area on a peninsula into the Lake where the peace of nature and water falling over a dam can be enjoyed. There are many civic organizations, such as the Lions Club, Ruritan Club, Senior Citizens Center, Masons, V.F.W., Boy Scouts, Federal Lodge No. 35 of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Federalsburg Historical Society and the Federalsburg Ministerial Association and the annual Caroline Hospice Run-Walk at Marina Park just to name a few.

Historic Sites: The Covey/Williams Historic Car Garage has been converted into the Federalsburg Historical Society Museum, the Linchester Flouring Mill located in nearby Preston, MD is being renewed and with the Museum of Rural Life, and the Old Harford Town Maritime Center in nearby Denton, MD.
